Staff wellbeing is an important aspect of business.
This has the potential for savings by reducing sickness absence, takes pressure off managers through the availability of a constructive means of dealing with ‘difficult’ staff or situations, and contributes to its reputation as a caring employer.
ISK formed a partnership with the Eastern Bay Primary Health Alliance to provide workplace counselling to those employers who want to be involved. The concept of this initiative is to catch those who may be vulnerable before things get serious and, having workplace visits reduces barriers of access for employees and “breaks the ice”.
The Alliance team is a triage service – they assess need and (together with the employer where appropriate) work out a plan for those employees that need ongoing support. If you are interested in becoming part of this initiative, please get in touch.
